Two Roos©

Two roos holding each other tight

Gazing out at a spatial night

Laying side by side

Staring out at the starry divide

One female, one male

In tune to their partner’s love

What it means to have that special one

The male keeping her close

The sounds of lulling grunts

As the stars he does count

Figuring what it maybe all about

His partner finds herself nice and cozy

But gets ambition to up and mosey

This is a game since the roo’s inception

For her mate to chase her is the intention

As his focus is to the stars

She bounded not too far

As she knows the game’s a foot

The mate she love will have to look

Not entirely in the female’s game

He knows he will be there; and it came;

Amongst the stars

An epiphany grew

Just as he was going to pursue

His ears drooped back;

His head lifted high;

And his eyes widened at the starry sky

A smile became on his face

Then it all fell into place

He than sat up on his kangaroo feet

Turned around to face his mate

He stared at her glory

She cocked her head, looking rather worried

The epiphany was not of existence

It was that of which he realized

A mate to call his own

This makes one not alone

Deep inside he found his heart’s content

And fondly sure that it was meant

Without delay

No hesitation

Her mate pursued

Knowing she was his dearest affection

When the chase was over

Embraced by her mate

How good it felt to be bestowed this fate

A roo for one another

That is what each other had

A roo of deep fondness

Was what she truly had

There journey together

On this planet called Earth

Was definitely home and their turf

As the night progressed

They kept each other close

Knowing the roo in their life

Mattered the most

i like this =) it tells a story of thoughts & love, & got that sexy edge to it without giving "it" away =D and it rhymes!!! this definitely takes the edge off exams, and i love how it's all about the roos, aj-beta-roos ^.^ kanga & roo!! (but that'd be incest...winnie the pooh...gahhh)

procrastination is like masturbation:
feels good @ the time,
but in the end,
you're only fucking yourself.

ok, adjectives. stop using them. for, I'd say, the next 50-60 poems you write. just cut them all out. also, before you attempt poetry again and end up offending real poets who put work and tallent into their craft, try reading some of the following. Poe, Emmerson and Shakespear. after you have read at least 5-7 pieces of each you can then begin to try to apply the basics of their structure to your first real poems. enjoy, as writing poems will surely be a new and exciting experiance for you.
